Do i really think that he wrote this all himself? Not likely, but his signature is just as good as if he said down with his dictionairy, paper, pen and a mind full of ideas. Part of that really bothers me. These celebrities just sit back and let everybody else do all the work and then take all the credit. Meanwhile, if he did write it himself, he did a very good job at telling it like it is.

While looking for new things to blog about , I checked out www.godhatesfags.com and near the bottom was a link, to another website called "the beast Obama". The people who write this garbage must be living the dark-ages, glued to the bible pretending that they have control over everything by clinging to words that have no meaning. Really, get your priorities straight or do you have so much hate in you that it spills over and you cant concentrate on what your doing because you indeed are the "Anti-Christ". "Changing Times and Laws" is nothing more than a bitch an moan about everything imaginable that they think is relative. "Unholy Trinity" is by far the most outlandish. Winter Games = Seal Love?

Animal rights activist, P.E.T.A member, actress... sound familiar? Pamela Anderson has written a letter to Prime Minister Harper with over 50 thousand signatures in efforts to stop the 2010 Seal Hunt for breeding purposes.

Dear Prime Minister:

In light of Environment Canada’s recent data showing ice levels in the Gulf of St. Lawrence at a 30-year low, please grant a last-minute reprieve to the few seals who are able to give birth there and immediately call off Canada’s 2010 harp seal slaughter.

The absence of this birthing habitat will have dangerous consequences for the entire harp-seal population. Without ice, mother seals will be forced to abort their pups in the water.

I ask that you heed your government’s data and call off this year’s commercial seal slaughter in light of this unprecedented environmental situation. My friends at PETA and I look forward to hearing from you on this important matter. I can be reached via KarlaW@peta.org.

She is also quoted saying the hunt "..is an embarrassment to Canada.." and "..the whole world is watching Canada.."

I agree that everyone is watching Canada at the Olympics but I doubt that anybody has the Seal Hunt on their mind. Its a hard subject to bring up and there are so many different views, "They are so cute don't kill them" "The seals are overpopulated" "They are eating all of our fish.." but what one is right what argument is truly in the best interests of everyone. As for Prime Minister Harper, the chances of him actually doing anything regarding any situation are slim to none. While I would like to think that 50thousand signatures would make a difference it doesn't, and because shes a celebrity it will stop it?

She personally dropped the letter off at a mailbox in front of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Office in Vancouver. I hope this letter reached the right people and they will stop the Seal Hunt at least for a little while so they can bred.

Have you heard about this website? (www.godhatesfags.com) It is filled with the most hate I have ever seen. Hate towards homosexuality. The website (being so professional) has videos of protests, audio of "sermons" and a frequently asked questions page which I found particularly interesting.

Under the question "Doesn't the bible say that god loves everyone?"
It answers.
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them... and ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you, for they committed all these things, and therefore i abhorred them." Abhorred, by definition means "to detest utterly"

Leviticus is the third book of the christian old testament.

Surely, this proves that "God" hates gay people because it clearly states this. Maybe it does in this passage maybe it doesn't, but the point is that Moses authored this not God himself. Even so gay people have rights. Rather gay people should have rights. The right to walk down the street with their significant other, without being judged. The right to be a christian as well? If God so "abbhorrs" the descendants of Adam then why are they still here. If It's such an abomination to love another, then surely the "Apocalypse" is in the works.

Also today, I received the same type of ballot check-list. Only this time it was about "Helping Seniors." On the back it says: "Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Conservative Government are lowering the taxes that seniors pay. We have introduced targeted tax relief that will help the fixed income of our retired couples, pension income splitting will help save even more. It's about time that seniors had more financial security in their retirement years. This targeted tax relief is about more that just dollars and cents, it is also about peace of mind. Seniors have worked hard to build this country for all of us to enjoy. They deserve to enjoy more of what they have earned."

This one I completely agree too. Its different to agree with my Government on this matter because I am against them in so many other ways. Alas, I still feel the need to post this in order to fill-in anyone who didn't get the flyer and are curious about its contents.

So I'm just going to cut right to the chase. I'm so sick and tired of Loyola Hearn and his antics. Today in the mail, I received a "flyer" of sorts about the Canadian Troops. It is kind-of a ballot asking "who is on the right track on supporting our troops?" and then there is a check-list box, where you either choose Stephane Dion(Liberal), Stephen Harper(Conservative), Jack Layton(NDP) and Elizabeth May(Green). What is that supposed to prove? On the back it says : " When our military is strong, all Canadians benefit from a stable, safe and secure Canada. Unfortunately, during their 13 years in power the Liberals neglected the military, leaving our Canadian Forces a shadow of what they once were. The Conservative Government believes our men and women in uniform deserve proper training, supplies and tools. We deliver 0ver $45 billion in new funding to ensure our troops can do their job safely and well. The Conservative Government Believes our Forces deserve real support from their Government, and that is what we are delivering."

I'm sorry, but I was never aware that Canada was in any danger. Our troops only action is in the Iraq war. Shouldn't that come out of the American dollar? I don't even understand why we have a Force. Canada is known as a peaceful country. The only time we fight is if we are called upon by United States. Where exactly did this "new funding" come from? How much guns and explosives are they planning to buy to repay George Bush's mistakes. How much aircraft carriers and ammunition will it take before they realize that its not worth spending so much on dead men walking.

In conclusion, I would just like to say that my brother is a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and I would like to point out that my review is obviously completely unbiased. Just my opinion and hopefully if anybody has any insight, from either point of view, please let me know.

Hey, sorry I haven't written anything in a while, but its not like anything has changed since I last wrote. There are still vicious murders taking place. I don't think I will ever understand Loyola Hearn (Minster of Fisheries). Why does he do this? Why won't he just give up his selfish greed and see that he is hurting everyone. Not only seals, but the protesters and the people against the Seal Hunt. He is hurting the economy. Do you really think that tourists are going to want to come to Newfoundland now? Our province now represents slaughter. It is no longer known as a free-will province, one of hope and generosity. I just want someone is government to realize that what is taking place is barbaric and unnecessary. They need to get up and get over their money-infested minds and take a stand against the genocide. In case you are wondering my thoughts and views are not based on the "cuteness" of a seal. They are based on in-humane treatments of all animals. It's so hard to be a teenager in Newfoundland, where every time I try to speak my mind I get frowned upon. Whether its by my piers or family members, but mostly by government. They don't have time for a "naive little girl who has her facts mixed up". I will not let it discourage me. I am actually more determined more now than ever. What else can I do? So.. today in the mail I received a "flyer" per-say about the Seal Hunt. It is a completely biased review of Loyola Hearn's view's. It states "The seal hunt plays an important role in the fisheries management. That's why it is so shocking that so-called environmentalists are trying to profit by tearing the hunt down. Seals are not endangered and there is evidence that they contribute to the depletion of fish stocks. The Canadian seal hunt is a sustainable, economically viable activity based on sound conservation principles. Why won't the rich foreign celebrities and radical protest groups mention these facts? Either they are ignorant of the truth or they are ashamed of it. It's about time this debatestopped being about money and attention and started focusing on the real issues and the facts. Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Conservative Government are proud to stand with the Newfoundlanders and Labradorians as we work together to protect the seal hunt and preserve the vital natural resource for generations to come." There is also a ballot of sorts where you choose between Prime Minister Harper, or "foreign celebrities and radical special interest groups." When I first read this I was shocked and appalled. This is today not 500 years ago, Shouldn't we move on and let the traditions of the seal hunt become a memory rather than a genocide. Sure, seals aren't endangered ... now. If the hunt continues like this what is to become of the them. Last time I checked the only things to benefit off of the celebrities and groups are the seal's. There are non-profit organizations. Also, it is pretty bad when they have "debate stopped" as one word. No, that was not my typo, it was theirs. You can't send out something so serious and controversial and miss spell words. I'm sorry. Hey, sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Although It's not like anything very interesting has taken place. I'm going to write a letter to Loyola Hearn , minister of fisheries and oceans, in order to express my feelings about the seal hunt. I don't really see the point in it because i know that it probably won't even get read by the busy man, but instead by his overworked secretary. Who will just throw it out, but what the hay, might as well give it a shot.

" Dear Loyola,
I am a fifteen year old girl living in the St. Johns area, and as a concerned citizen of this city I feel the need to express my views and opinions of the seal hunt and where you stand. I think that all this carnivorous, cannibalistic behavior is barbaric, yet it is still accepted by you and the community.

Don't get me wrong, I am a Newfoundlander and proud of it. I support most of the traditions of my native land and i do not wish to take away anyone's heritage. Can't we just leave the seal hunt as a memory of our ancestors past? Just because they did it, doesn't mean that we have to. They didn't have washers and dryers would you like to go back to using a scrubbing board and a clothesline? Didn't think so.

I just strongly believe that nobody has the right to play god. To take another mammal's life is a mortal sin. Just because a certain number of animals lives in one area doesn't mean that we have a right to commit a mass genocide on it.

I feel like your actions as minster of fisheries and oceans have been minimal. When I saw on the news that you had put an order in to take the "Farley Mowat" ship out of the way because it was too close to the seal hunt, I was bewildered. That ship was in international waters. Perhaps, the protesters could have been a threat to the sealers, but the way you went about it was absurd. Treating them as if they were terrorists and having them scooped away like they had committed a criminal act.

Symbolism Help Me Out Here

I fought my urge to be a non-religious person and went to church on passover Friday. While i sat there waiting for the service to begin i looked around and noticed that the majority of the people there were elderly folk. Just my luck, being stuck in a church with a bunch of old wind-bags who think that everything is about Jebus. So, about an exaggerated hour later they began to start. The priest or whatever, started to read some things from the bible. Twenty years later i actually started to be a little bit attentive and realized what he is saying. Things such as "..Jesus died for you.." and "... your sins.. blah blah blah" im like oh my god will this day never end. (pun) The a bunch of chicks and dudes started to sing plasm's and hymns and the like. I was praying (nawt) that the service would hurry up and be over with so that i can get my hot cross buns and tea , just kidding. Well, not really lol. So then i got to thinking... ( i know, dangerous) about what easter was really about. Seriously, what is the connection between the easter bunny and Jesus. Um, symbolism help me out here. Why the rabbit? Bunny's don't even lay eggs, hens do. Why in the world would a imaginatory being want to prance around decorating a chick baby and hide it around a house. It makes absolutely zero sense to me, at all.

Hello , I felt the need to write about the poor seals. Some people can make a good argument about how the seals are over-populated and that we would be doing "good" by taking their lives. Well excuse me. Um ... sorry but, who gave you murderers the right to play god. To take another mammals life absolutely sickens me to my very core. Thank-you Paul Mcartney, for taking a stand to the violence. I thought that maybe a "celebrity" *cough* *cough* could make an impact on this generation. No. The reaction of this province was questionable. Everybody was like "We are just trying to make a living.." and "..god put it here for us to eat.." and all I can say is, what in the hell is wrong with todays society. Like really, there is a lot more things for you to consume you cannibalistic carnivores. Another thing there is a lot more jobs out there that im sure pay a lot more then being a seal-clubber. Also how could anybody have the heart to do that to a little baby seal. I'm not sure I want these kind of people around me if they can be so heartless and cruel. Oh and another thing, apparently somebody named Captain Paul Watson announced the following "They say it's part of their culture," said Captain Watson who himself grew up in an Eastern fishing village in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. "It's a culture based on the cruel clubbing of baby seals for a few weeks each year and drinking Canadian Club and beer the rest of the year. It's a culture that any Maritimer with half a brain abandoned generations ago." When i first read this I wasn't sure whether to be shocked at his bravery or insulted. Myself, being a maritimer take great pride in my heritage and MOST of the Newfoundland & Labrador traditions. I do see where he is coming from but he is a Newfoundlander how can he say that about his home? That is just adding to the stereotypes that we are stupid , and big drinkers. Although I get it, i can full heartily honestly saw that he took it a tad bit to far. I do really appreciate that he took the "time" and the "effort" (not that i have any idea who this geezer is) and did actually make at least one valid point, that It's not right. The way he went about insulting maritimer's was a little misguided but in the end he said what he had to say and I commend him fully. So, i wish the seal hunt would stop. For good.

St. Patrick's day. Anybody know what its for? Apparently its about an Irish man named Patrick. A bishop in 387 AD. Some people believe that he changed his name when he became a bishop from Maewyn Succat to St. Patrick. His beliefs were that the druids(priests) were unholy worshipers and that they were praising the wrong things such as "plants or planets (Scientology?)". He converted many "pagans" into Christianity. Patrick's ideals or goals were not to take away anybodies religion away but to show them the new "god", something that he thought was better than any other beliefs. Well, he must have knew what he was talking about because he ended up building hundreds of churches and baptized over a hundred thousand people. Talk about religion pushers i got a advertisement in the mail today to convert to Jehovah’s Witness. Shockin'.

I'm sure you’ve heard all about the governer Spitzer sex scandel. It has been blasted throughout the media since the hour it was leeked. He made a speech about it with his "loving" wife by his side and his three children in tow, about how he is deeply sorry. Although he failed to explain why. Apparently, he was involved in well, to bluntly put it he paid for a "highclass hooker" like gosh golly gee. Other politions were saying that he ideals and morals in his personnal life were too indifferent for him to make logical decisions as a governor. Therefore everybody wanted him to get out of the office. So his choice was to either resign or be charged with a federal offence. His "brainwork" in this was absoutly ridiculous, yet astonishly brilliant. He told everybody and their mother about his idea scheming for a different approach. He said that he would resign, but only if, he was charged with nothing, or with a misdemeaner. Spitzer knew that if he didnt resign there you be a public uproar, with headlines such as "Hoe No!" and "Gov's Girl" and other clever titles, the governent could not afford to let im stay in the office. So, using this knowledge ex-governor spitzer resigned and will probably got off scott-free. Peace.

I know im not an american or anything but if i was i want to tell you my views on the upcoming election between Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton. Even though one of Barack’s followers in this presidential campaign leeked information that he is secretly not planning on making any of the changes that he has stated in his speechs. Even though his campaigning skills are "limited" in my opinon, i would still vote for him over Hilary Clinton anyday. Why you ask ? seems silly i know. I would rather vote for him then Hilary. Her entire focus is put on putting down Barack Obama. She thinks that its in the bag. She believes she is going to be president. Even if her husband was a lame half-ass leader, we should still give her a chance right ? Nah. she doesnt give a "hoot" about her compaign at allll. Her speechs are weak unreasearched, unstructred and poorly rehearsed. She even offered her opponent (who is in the lead) to a vice president job. like ? The balls on that one, sickens me. :P
